1.The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to claims by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that President Muhammadu Buhari is pursuing a “self-succession” plan.

The APC National Secretary, John Akpan Udoedehe, reaffirmed in a statement on Thursday that the President will leave office once his term ends in 2023, while condemning the unintended interpretations in some sections of the media.

2. The federal government yesterday announced that cases of cholera in the FCT have risen from 604 to 698 within 72 hours. The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, disclosed this at a community sensitization on cholera in Pyakasa and Gwagwa communities in Abuja.
