Onlookers mostly dressed in black as bodies of the victims arrived the mass burial ground exactly a year ago today.

Today marks exactly one year after 73 Nigerians were buried as a result of a bloody attack by Fulani herdsmen on the first day of January 2018 in Guma & Logo Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue State.

The attack was reported the most brutal of the Fulani-Herdsmen clash since inception due to the calibre of destruction wrecked.

In remembrance of the fallen heroes, a State memorial service to honour victims was held today at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral, Makaudi, Benue State.
