Nexford University Names Oby Ezekwesili Global Advisory Board Member, Opens Scholarship For Five Women

Nexford University has just named the Presidential candidate of the Allied People’s Congress of Nigeria (APCN), Madam Oby Ezekwesili the newest member of its Global Advisory Board.

This was made known to the general public via a tweet by the United State based university this afternoon.

The statement reads “We’re honored to welcome you Dr. Oby, together we will help bring high quality affordable education to #Nigeria.”

Madam Oby in reaction expressed honour to be part of the global team as she also took out the time to announce the development to her followers on Twitter.

“I’m honored to announce that I am the newest member of @Nexford University’s Global Advisory Board, which consists of some of the world’s leading academics and practitioners.” She announced.

As perks of being a member of the Global Advisory Board, she stated that five young women within the ages of 16-25 will in her name benefit from Nexford University’s Bachelors of Business Administration scholarships.

“Five @Nexford University Bachelors of Business Administration scholarships have been endowed in my name to benefit young women ages 16-25. To apply for the Oby Ezekwesili Scholarship program, send an email to scholarships@nexford.org to receive the full details.” She tweeted.

She finally promised while wishing prospective applicants luck to personally support and mentor them in her quest to groom more young women in leadership.

Nexford University, is a global, next-generation, accredited university based in the U.S and launching in Nigeria. According to its mission statement, it is determined to move students forward in their careers.
