Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, is mourning the loss of his father.
This comes after three years when he lost his mother.
The presidential aide announced the passing in an emotional post on X on Tuesday, writing:
“Goodnight Dad. Till we meet to never part again. Say hello to mum”
The post has drawn an outpouring of condolences from colleagues, political associates, and Nigerians online who trooped to his timeline to commiserate with him.
According to a statement shared by the presidency, Chief Dada had a distinguished career as a former Sales Manager at NEXAN Kablemetal Nigeria Plc, earning the admiration and respect of all who encountered him.
Olusegun, has served as Special Assistant on Social Media since 2023.
He is also the National Convener of the PBAT Media Centre and has been at the forefront of the administration’s digital communications and youth engagement.
As of press time, details about the burial arrangements have not been made public.
