It was a relieving moment for residents of Ijede LCDA in Ikorodu Division of Lagos as the council administration organized a 3-day medical outreach for people with peculiar health conditions especially eye problems.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that several residents who turned up in their hundreds were administered drugs and eye glasses all for free while some others had to be recommended for surgery. Tests were also carried out for people with High Blood Pressure, Malaria patients as well as deworming of both adults and children.

The council Chairman, Hon. Salisu Fatiu Jimoh however revealed that his administration will also be taking charge of surgery expenses for those who require such while disclosing that he is committed to ensuring that the people of Ijede LCDA live in good health.
