Tension Grips Gombe As Unknown Men Kills Student

Yosi Yusuf, a student of the Gombe State College of Education, has been brutally murdered by unknown  assailants in the wee hours of Sunday.

Yusuf, who was learnt that he was a native of Bagange town in Billiri local government area of the state, was pursuing a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) until his unfortunate demise.

Reports had it that he was a penultimate student of the school and used to reside  in Zazzagawa quarters as an off-campus student of the school.

When contacted, the Gombe State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, confirmed the incident to journalists.

He claimed that investigations are already underway, adding that the unidentified perpetrators will be brought to justice.

It was gathered from sources that the body of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary pending the results of the investigation of the law enforcement agency.
