Nigerian singer, Fakoya Qudus Oluwadamilare popularly known as Qdot has won the ‘Most Outstanding Young Person in Entertainment’ category at the second edition of the Lagos Youth Awards.
The Ikorodu-born singer, who is reputed for tantalising music fans with great indigenous music blended in pop, emerged top in the category which had nominees such as Nollywood actors Kunle Remi and Jide Awobona, and actress Dorcas Shola Fapson.
Qdot was named the winner of the prestigious award at the event held at Radisson Blu Hotel in the Ikeja area of Lagos on Friday, December 23.
Tagged “The Disruptors”, the second edition of the Lagos Youth Awards — an initiative of BBN360 — honoured no fewer than 20 outstanding young people drawn from different fields such as medical services, law, entrepreneurship, arts, journalism, among others.
