Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy and Colombian singer Shakira have recorded another major milestone as their collaborative hit, “Dai Dai,” surpasses one billion views on YouTube.
The song, released as the official FIFA World Cup 2026 song, crossed the landmark on Sunday, making its music video the first released in 2026 to surpass one billion YouTube views.
The feat further underscores Burna Boy’s growing global influence and Shakira’s enduring dominance on the international music scene.
“Dai Dai” was released ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has continued to gain traction globally, with its billion-view milestone adding to the song’s growing list of achievements.
For Shakira, the achievement also reportedly marks her 10th music video to cross the one-billion-view mark on YouTube, placing her among the platform’s most-watched female artistes.
