Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has stirred controversy online after launching a series of attacks against fellow artiste Zlatan Ibile on social media.
The 25-year-old singer took to X on Tuesday, where he made disparaging remarks about Zlatan and his fashion brand, Zero To The World (ZTTW).
In one of the posts, Seyi Vibez appeared to mock the clothing line, writing in Yoruba, “Aseju ni ZTTW. High fashion ati Go Crazy ti da.”
He intensified the criticism in subsequent posts, describing Zlatan as a “backup artiste” and suggesting that the rapper’s music career had been overshadowed by his business interests.
“You’ll always be a backup artiste,” Seyi Vibez wrote, adding that Zlatan’s career now revolves around his fashion store in Lekki.
The comments have generated reactions across social media, with fans speculating about the cause of the apparent rift between the two musicians.
As of the time of reporting, Zlatan has not publicly responded to the remarks, and the reason behind Seyi Vibez’s outburst remains unclear.
Interestingly, both artistes have collaborated on several occasions. Zlatan previously featured Seyi Vibez on “Let There Be Light,” while Seyi Vibez later featured Zlatan on “Professor Peller.”
The latest episode comes just weeks after Seyi Vibez made headlines for criticizing singer Adekunle Gold, describing him as “wack” over his Fuji Xtra deluxe project.
With no official explanation from either camp, fans continue to await further developments regarding the growing tension between the artists.
