Coronavirus is a virus that is found in animals and, rarely, can be transmitted from animals to humans and then spread person to person.
The first confirmed case of the pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 in Nigeria was announced on 27 February 2020, when an Italian citizen in Lagos tested positive for the virus, caused by SARS-CoV-2. On 9 March 2020, a second case of the virus was reported in Ewekoro, Ogun State, a Nigerian citizen who had contact with the Italian citizen.
However, as at the time of filling this reports, BBN360 gathered that at the moment sixteen (16) States have recorded one or more cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
So far, twenty-one (21) states have been identified not to have recorded any case of COVID-19 in Nigeria, BBN 360 gathered.
Here is the list of states with no issue of COVID-19′ Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Bayelsa, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kano, Kebbi, Kogi, Nassarawa, Niger, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara.
Recall, that the Federal Government declared lockdown of 3 States that have the highest cases of the virus. Nigerians are urged to maintain clean hygiene and adapt the 5 most important rules to prevent the spread across all states ;

2. Keep a safe distance
3. Wash hands often
4. Cover your cough
5. Sick? Call ahead
