PEPC Foundation Founder, Otunba Barrister Lukman Akinsanya has formally secured nomination and expression of interest forms, signalling his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Akinsanya described the move as a significant step in his political ambition to represent the people of the constituency at the National Assembly.
In a statement, the aspirant expressed gratitude to a close ally he described as “a true friend and brother” for supporting his aspiration by securing the forms on his behalf.
He noted that the gesture reflects the strength of loyalty, friendship, and shared commitment to the development of Ibeju-Lekki.
“This journey is for the people, powered by loyalty, friendship, and a shared vision for progress,” Akinsanya said, adding that his ambition is driven by a desire to advance the collective interests of the constituency.
He emphasized that his campaign would focus on fostering growth and delivering tangible progress for the people, while calling on residents and party members for their support and prayers ahead of the political process.
Akinsanya also expressed optimism about his chances, stating that victory is achievable with the backing of the people.
“The work continues for the progress of our people. I humbly seek your support and, more importantly, your prayers as we move forward together. For the people of Ibeju-Lekki, we will win,” he said.
The declaration adds to the growing list of aspirants positioning for elective offices ahead of the next electoral cycle within the APC in Lagos State.
