Schoolchildren take God as pen-friend, ask interesting questions in letters

Although the world keeps evolving and civilisation has set in, changing many things, children’s innocence and open mindedness are features which unarguably would never cease to exist.

According to a tweet by one Sapientem, a teacher asked her Grade 3 pupils to write a letter to God. They all had grabbed their books and inks, bolding inscribing on their papers, things that they would want God to know.

Although, hilarious, these letters can be said to portray plain innocence and inquisition.

In her letter, A pupil identifed as Norma wanted to know if God had made a mistake in creation of giraffe, a wild animal.

“Dear God, did you mean for the giraffe to look like that or was it an accident?,” she wrote.

Another pupil, Neil asked God if it was appropriate to kiss in the church. He quipped, “Dear God, I went to this wedding and they kissed right in church, is that ok?”

Raphael, another pupil, set a negotiation with God asking for a genie lamp.

“Dear God, if you give me a genie lamp like Alladin. I will give you anything you want except money or my chess set,” she wrote.

For Joyce, she told God how she would have preferred a puppy to her baby brother. “Dear God, thanks for the baby brother, but what I prayed for was puppy.”

“Dear God, on Halloween I am going to wear a devil’s costume. Is that all right by you?” curious Marnie asked.

An adventurous pupil, Johnny, asked God why they aren’t new animals as he seemed tired of the old ones. “Dear God how come you didn’t invent any new animal lately? We still have just the old ones,” he wrote.
