Reactions as Rema reveals he gained admission into UNILAG

Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has joined the list of celebrities who went back to the university despite the fame.

The music sensation, in a tweet on Friday, announced that he has gained admission into the University of Lagos to study Creative Arts.

Rema revealed that his mum influenced his decision to bag a degree.

“What if I told y’all I got an admission into Unilag? Lol, Mom said I still need to get a degree. oh well, see you guys in class!,” he wrote.

The Mavin Record label signee further disclosed that he’d release his much-anticipated album before he resumes at UNILAG to avoid getting ‘beaten’ by his fans.

He tweeted, “I will try to drop the album before I enter school. So they’ll not beat me in UNILAG. Plus, I’m in the Creative Art Department.”

Interestingly, the announcement has since been trailed by reactions of fans of the “Woman” crooner, as some refer to him as “celebrity student”. Read some of their comments below:
