Paris Saint-Germain delivered a stunning attacking display to defeat Bayern Munich 5-4 in a pulsating UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday night.

In a match packed with drama and goals at the Parc des Princes, Bayern struck first through a Harry Kane penalty, but PSG quickly responded as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and João Neves turned the game around.

The German side fought back to level through Michael Olise, but the hosts regained control before halftime when Ousmane Dembélé converted from the spot to make it 3-2.

PSG took full command after the break, with Kvaratskhelia and Dembélé both grabbing second goals to extend the lead, showcasing the French champions’ attacking depth and clinical finishing.

Although Bayern pulled one back late through Dayot Upamecano and Luiz Diaz, the visitors were unable to contain PSG’s relentless forward play in what proved to be one of the most entertaining matches of the tournament.

The result gives PSG a crucial advantage heading into the second leg, as they aim to secure a place in the final and defend their European crown.

Both sides, widely regarded among Europe’s elite this season, lived up to expectations in a high-quality encounter, leaving the tie finely poised ahead of the return leg.
