Presidential aide says Buhari is a private citizen and Nigerians don’t deserve to know his state of health
The ongoing ‘Resume or Resign’ debate took a new dimension last night when a Presidential media aide stated categorically that Nigerians had no right to demand to know the President’s state of health.

Lauretta Onochie, the Personal Assistant to President Buhari on Social Media in an interview on a Channels TV programme disclosed that President Buhari is a private citizen at the moment and it is disrespectful to demand for his health status.

The controversial Onochie further cited the United Kingdom as an example saying “In the Uk where I came from, nobody would release anybody’s health record to another not even the members of their family.”
Mrs Lauretta Onochie whom many had before now deemed not fit for the position which ought to have gone to a younger person has before now courted many controversies online with many accusing her of blocking them because they were critical of the government. She is currently trending on Twitter at the moment.
