By Pastor Joseph Aiyedun of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide have been sacked for using the Church’s money and name to participate in the viral scheme, MMM Nigeria.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Pastor Aiyedun heads the branch of the Church in Aba, Abia State till he was sacked.
According to a statement signed by Pastor David Apelorioye and made available to the press, the sacked Pastor did not only participated in the scheme, he also used the Church’s name in what it’s Founder and President, Pastor Johnson Suleiman had tagged ‘demonic’.
Pastor Apelorioye referred to a lecture delivered by the Founder in November 2016, where he warned all Church members not to participate in the scheme.
He said the erring Pastor would have just been punished if he indeed participated with his name, but because he decided to tarnish the Church’s name, he had to be sent packing.
BBN further gathered that the sacked Pastor was given a one – year full salary on the order of the Founder so he could cater for his immediate needs.
