By The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Tokunbo Abiru has congratulated his colleague in the National Assembly, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola popularly known as Yayi on his 53rd birthday.
Adeola currently represents Lagos West Senatorial District and recently emerged as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ogun West Senatorial seat in the 2023 elections.
In a congratulatory message on Wednesday, Abiru described the Lagos West Senator as a “parliamentarian par excellence”.
“From the Lagos State House of Assembly to the Federal House of Representatives and now the Senate, you have continuously displayed the highest level of professionalism and competence in the discharge of your legislative duties,” he wrote.
“The outstanding feats you have to your name are not surprising in the light of the robust corporate experience you garnered in the private sector as an accomplished Chartered accountant who excelled in the practice and became a Fellow.
“We are proud of your achievements as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance and the tremendous contributions you are making to the advancement of progressive ideals in Lagos State and in Nigeria in general.”
The Senator prayed that Almighty God grant the celebrant good health and vitality in the coming years.
