By The allegations leveled against the Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara and three other principal officers in the House by former Chairman of Appropriation Committee has just been validated by a fellow lawmaker in the chamber.
Hon Muhammadu Farouk (Niger State, APC) confirmed to newsmen this afternoon in his Abuja office that all the budget padding allegations been made by Hon Jibrin were indeed the real truth. He noted that this situation arised after several prayers by well meaning Nigerians, that is why things fell apart between Jibrin and the principal officers, hence the loud cry.
He said some members of the house of reps had called him repeatedly to come append his signature for vote of confidence on the Speaker, he said he asked them whst for. He disclosed that he told them he is not signing a vote of confidence, he said he did not even ask for the amount attached to the signing.
He stated further that the discrepancies hovering around the 2016 were valid with facts and no member can kick against it. He said the nation is only witnessing divine intervention, that is why the truth is leaking for all to see.
