Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has paid a heartfelt tribute to founder of Globacom, Otunba Dr. Mike Adenuga, as he marked his 73rd birthday, describing him as a true African icon whose vision continues to inspire generations.
In a message shared on social media, Otedola reflected on a memorable encounter 24 years ago at his mother’s 70th birthday celebration in Epe, where Adenuga reportedly spoke words that left a lasting impact on his life.
“Twenty-four years ago at my mum’s 70th birthday in Epe, you said I would be a great man. Your wisdom, mentoring and guidance have stayed with me ever since,” Otedola wrote.
Celebrating Adenuga’s life and legacy, Otedola commended his enduring influence, noting that his vision has remained a source of inspiration to many across Africa and beyond.
“Today, on your 73rd birthday, I celebrate you, Otunba Dr. Mike Adenuga, GCON. A true African icon whose vision continues to inspire us all,” he added.
