According to a journalist with ThisDay, top dignitaries who graced the occasion parted ways with their phones after an unknown ‘thief’ raided them despite all the security aides.
Among those that got their phones stolen were Ooni of Ife, Alayeluwa Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II and four other State Governors who were at the party.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the thief, who might have carried out the act in a similar way portrayed in Kemi Adetiba’s The Wedding Party got away the the VIPs mobile phones without anyone noticing.
As at the time of filing this report, no update has been reported about the incident.
