Etisalat International Finally Pulls Out Of Nigeria, Gives Ultimatum To Change Of Name

Financial crisis that recently rocked Etisalat Nigeria has prompted the UAE shareholders of Etisalat Nigeria to pull out of the Nigerian economy. As it stands now, the International arm of the company has terminated its management agreement with the Nigeria arm.

This information was made in a statement today by the chief Executive Officer of Etisalat International, Hatem Dowidar.

Hatem made it known that plans is ongoing to give technical aid to Etisalat Nigeria, allowing them to use the brand name for three weeks more before phasing it out.

This development is coming after few days after Etisalat Nigeria announced Boye Olusanya as its new CEO following the resignation of Hakeem Belo- Osagie.
