By The Executive Elect of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Folarin Adegboyega Awal, Imota-LCDA, Saturday, activated the #Mask-Up-Imota-LCDA campaign with 5, 000 nose masks to sensitize the LCDA on the relevance of nose masks.
The sensitization and campaign awareness tagged; #Mask-Up-Imota-LCDA was birthed as an initiative to sensitize residents of the Imota LCDA on the use of nose mask, social distancing, and other health safety precautions as advised by the Lagos State Government.
Part of the locations covered during the sensitization includes; Oriokuta, Igbalu, Oko ito, Oke Agbo, Oke Lisa, Idi Apaiye, Agudun, Ebute Ajebo, Araomi, Ayayo, Owode, Ajegunle, Elekun, Itunmaja, Itun-onabu, and Atere, among others.
Comrade Folarin Adegboyega, while speaking at the exercise, said the programme was geared towards encouraging the people of Imota to wear their nose masks, particularly now that they have all returned to their daily activities.
“It is important to engage in aggressive enlightenment on the need to take responsibility, to support the efforts of the state government to curb the spread of coronavirus by staying safe and using nose mask regularly.
“I advise all the good people of Imota LCDA to continue to abide by the safety regulations issued by the state government and the NCDC.” Comrade Folarin said.
