Popular social media comedian, Ahmed Gafar, otherwise known as The Cute Abiola has been declared missing.
This was made known by his fellow comedian and content creator, Mr Macaroni on Tuesday evening.
In a statement posted on his Twitter page, Mr Macaroni said Gafar, a Nigerian naval officer, left his residence on Monday morning for office at Navy Town. His whereabouts since then have been unknown.
According to the comedian, it was gathered from an unknown source that Cute Abiola has been locked up in a Nigerian Navy cell. The authorities are said to have hidden information about his detention.
“If the Nigerian Navy has any information to help Cute Abiola’s family and friends confirm his whereabouts or if he hits in their custody, I think the honorable thing to do would be to clarify details surrounding his detention and put everyone’s mind at rest. Haba!,” Mr Macaroni said.
The news has thrown the comedian’s wife into turmoil as she revealed that her husband is an ulcer patient.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Navy is yet to officially confirm the development as at time of filing this report.
