Nigeria Paediatric Nurses Confer Life Matron Award On WBFA Founder, Toyin Saraki
The National Association of Nigeria Paediatric Nurses (NANPAN) on Tuesday conferred an Award of Life Matron on President and Founder of Wellbeing Foundation Africa, Mrs Toyin Ojora-Saraki.
The award was presented to Mrs Saraki by the Lagos State Chapter of the Association at the Maiden State Conference held at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos.
In her acceptance speech, Mrs Saraki appreciated the Association for recognising her personality as she emphasised on the importance of the Paediatric Nurses in the health of children and adolescents.

“I am grateful to receive this Award as Life Matron from the National Association of Nigeria Paediatric Nurses (NANPAN), Lagos Chapter, at her ongoing 2017 Maiden State Conference in LASUTH, Ikeja Lagos.
“I appreciate the association for this recognition, and most importantly, i appreciate Nigerian Paediatric Nurses for the role they play in child and adolescent health; from teaching in various setting to rendering hands-on care in hospitals or clinic.
Taking care of children involves self-awareness that one must be patient enough about children’s needs as well as consider the fundamentals of child psychology especially the key factors that determine early childhood development, to assure that the nation’s children thrive, from birth to age.
Mrs Saraki who was absent at the event was ably represented by the Programme Director of Wellbeing Foundation Africa Mamacare Midwifery.
