The Nigerian Immigration Service has allegedly punish some of its serving officers for participating in an online video challenge tagged BOPDaddy.

The videos which circulated on the social media on different dates in April had five ladies who were officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service participating in the BOPDaddy trend. They were later summoned by the Agency on April 20th, 2020 for partaking in the challenge.

According to a query issued to the officers which was used to summon them to a disciplinary committee, the viral video clip has caused the organisation a lot of embarrassment.

However, a newly leaked memo has revealed that the five officers that participated in the BOPDaddy Challenge have been handed severe postings, which have been regarded as punitive and discriminatory.

The memo confirms that Priscilla Irabor has been transferred from her previous post at Lagos State Command to the Nigeria Immigration Training School, Kano (ITSK), while Binti Attabor has been reposted from the Service Headquarters in Abuja to the Yobe State Command.
