The Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Transportation, Hon. Toyin Fayinka, has felicitated with his constituents and Lagosians as a whole as they celebrate the New Year, wishing them joy and prosperity in 2022.
In a New Year message through his “Imole Media Team,” Fayinka urged his constituents to be optimistic for a better 2022 especially as the country draw near to another election year.
The statement reads:
“I usher everyone into a prosperous 2022 having survived the many challenges of 2021. Despite that, we still have reasons to thank God for life and look forward with renewed hopes for a better new year.
“Let me also use this opportunity to convey my sincere thanks to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Deputy, Femi Hamzat, State Exco and our party leaders for the support, co-operation as well as contributions to the development of Mushin and Lagos State as a whole.
“The administration of the duo of Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Femi Hamzat will not spare efforts in ensuring that all the policies and programmes targeted at making life more meaningful for the people, are realised.
“As we step into another year, I urge us all to continue to show tolerance to each other irrespective of our tribe and culture as there is unity in diversity. We should also continue to keep hope alive and embrace the New Year with courage and unity of purpose to overcome our adversaries.
“Yet again is another step into electioneering period with political gladiators coming full force with promises. We must however set ourselves to the task of moving forward with the goal of changing the status quo and electing leaders that will serve the people, listen to the people, and most importantly, fight for and on behalf of the people.
“The goal ahead of us should be creating a New Mushin that our sons and daughters can be proud of; a constituent that works for the betterment of the many. Let us all see ourselves as history-makers and change agents as we work to bring about a New Mushin and continued development of Lagos State.
“Finally, I wish everyone a happy, successful and prosperous 2022.”
