Music promoter Kogbagidi visits alma mater, LASU

Popular music promoter, Quadri Taoreed, better known as Kogbagidi, on Wednesday, visited his alma mater, Lagos State University, Ojo.

According to a statement from the university, Kogbagidi who was accompanied by his crew members met with the institution’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello at her office.

The ace music promoter seized the opportunity to felicitate with the VC and express his desire to support the institution.

Also on ground to receive him were the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Adenike Boyo, the Acting Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel Fanu and other senior members of the Administration.

Kogbagidi has been in the news in recent times for his controversial relationship with music sensation, Portable whose hit song ‘Zazoo Zeh’ featuring YBNL boss Olamide and Poco Lee is currently making waves.

The fast-rising singer and his benefactor and manager, Kogbagidi, on two different occasions, had altercations over money and the former’s contract — though they later settled.
