Nigerian superstar, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema has emerged winner at the just concluded MTV EVAs award event.
The event which was held on Sunday, November 5, at the Paris Nord Villepinte, France featured various entertainers from different parts of the world.
It was learnt that the Nigerian star-boy alongside international singers such as Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift, were announced as winners of different categories.
Rema was said to have beaten Afrobeats super stars like David Adeleke, aka Davido, and Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, to hit the award for the newly-added best Afrobeats category, was nominated alongside Asake, Aya Nakamura, and Ayra Starr.
It should be stressed that this year alone, this is not the first award to be won by the young Rema.
