Nigerians have taken to social media to praise Hilda Baci, a celebrated chef who came into limelight after being the holder of the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, following her dethronement.
Recall our earlier earlier report that Hilda, who is better known for her exceptional culinary skills, has been dethroned from her by an Irish national on Tuesday.
Alan Fisher, who is from Ireland, become the new holder after the accomplishment of an astonishing culinary marathon.
It was learnt that he cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan. Following its announcement, the news has generated serious reactions from Nigerians.
A controversial user on X named DanielRegha said, “Hilda Baci’s reign has come to an end, but her name will forever be inscribed in the history books, which is an achievement.
“Congratulations to the new Guinness World Record holder. It’s just a matter of time before someone else attempts and claims the crown.
“A big shout-out to the previous record holders, and best wishes to all.”
Another user, DeanOfBoiz, opined that, “Hilda Baci remains unparalleled; she didn’t merely cook but also brought fresh fame to the Guinness World Records.”
Amosegun affirmed optimism about Hilda’s potential comeback, saying: “Keep an eye out for Hilda’s return. This will make her exceedingly prosperous, as numerous brands will want to associate with her. Congratulations in advance to Hilda, and kudos to the new champion!”
