Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, known as Mr. P., has disclosed that he is undergoing a hair transplant procedure in Istanbul, Turkey.
He shared the update on his Instagram story on Wednesday, posting a video captioned “Say goodbye to baldness.”
In the video, he mentioned that he is receiving treatment at MedHair Clinic in Istanbul under the care of a doctor.
“I’ve been uncomfortable about it,” he admitted in the video, “But see the before and after of the magic this guy is about to do.”
In the next video, Okoye elaborated, saying, “The extraction part is done; we have about 2,400. I feel better 100%, just to look good for you guys.”
On Thursday morning, he provided another video update, showcasing the progress of his first day of the transplant. The caption for the video read, “Day 1. It is well.”
In February, it was reported that Nigerian record producer and singer John Udomboso, also known as Young Jonn, underwent a successful hair transplant surgery, aiming to reclaim his receding hairline.
Similarly, Nollywood actor Ik Ogbonna addressed his own hair restoration journey, opting for a microscopic pigmentation (MSP) procedure to create a hairline.
