By Nigeria has finally recorded her name on the medal’s list at the ongoing Olympics following the victory recorded by Siasia’s men in the third place match of the football event. 
Sadiq Umar who ended up with a brace opened the sheet following a commendable pass from captain Mikel Obi which gave the Nigerian side a first half lead.
The country’s U-23 side increased their lead 4 minutes into the second half which was consolidated by Umar’s second goal.
Honduras however scored two back but couldnt meet up with the energised Nigerian side. 
As it stands this might be Team Nigeria’s only medal at the mundial
