Manchester United’s Players Wear Black Armbands To Pay Respect To Fans Who Died In Calabar

Top English club, Manchester United’s players are all wearing the black armband in their Premier League match against Swansea City at Old Trafford in paying respect to the fans who died while watching the side playing in Europa League match.

Recalled that some football fans were electrocuted in Calabar, Cross Rivers State while watching Manchester United play.

The club had immediately paid condolences to the fans involved in the incident where it used the Trinity Statue placed outside the Theatre of Dreams.

The first half of the match against Swansea just ended with The Reds leading with a goal from Wayne Rooney’s penalty kick.
