By Man arrested in Lagos for stealing pants, bras
A man was yesterday accosted in Ikeja, Lagos after he tried carting away stolen underwear.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the man whose name is yet to be ascertained was sighted stealing pants, bras and other clothing items on a line where they were spread oblivious that he was being watched by someone. The resident who saw saw him committing the act quickly alerted other residents who quickly apprehended him.

The man was initially said to have kept a cold face when he was approached while threatening to deal with the residents for accusing him wrongly but after he was forced to open the bag he carried with him, pants, bra and other items where found found in it. At this point, he was reported to have kept mute.

According to an eyewitness, Bayo Ojo, the man who was initially threatening them simply kept mute after pants, bras and other cloths were found on him. He couldn’t explain why he had taken them.

“We were upstairs and all of a sudden, one of us, Tunde, saw a man picking up bras, pants and some clothes that were spread outside.

Rather than being remorseful, the man began threatening that he would deal with us for insulting him.
When the people asked him to open the bag he was carrying, he bragged that he was going to beat them up. But when the people forced him to open the bag, they were surprised to see bras, pants and clothes in the bag.”
Cases of female pants theft is now reoccurring incident with reports that these days, it is the most viable ritual material for people looking at making illegal quick money.
