Arguably the most shocking development in the football arena in decades, six-time Balon D’Or winner, Lionel Messi recently bade farewell to his childhood club, Barcelona, to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer.

The tissue paper used by Argentine to wipe off his tears during his emotional farewell speech at FC Barcelona is said to be on sale for an eye-watering amount of $1 million.

While addressing the press, a visibly emotional Messi broke down in tears. His wife, Antonella had to give him a tissue paper to wipe them off.

It was reported that a man, who was sitted at the front row of the same press conference, managed to scoop up the discarded tissue paper for reasons best known to him.

The tissue paper was on auctioning on Meikeduo, by Rojakdaily. He claimed that the tissue contained Lionel Messi’s genetic content that will make it possible to clone the Argentine.

Meanwhile, just a week since the arrival of the Argentine maestro in Paris Saint German (PSG), the club have recorded the sale of more than a million Lionel Messi jerseys online and in their stores. With each Lionel Messi shirt priced at the range of €115 (N65,092) to €165 (N93,405) and if calculated PSG might have made up to €165,000,000 (N93,394,927,230) in just a week already
