Legendary John Terry Ends Chelsea Career After 22 Years

Defender, John Terry has ended his Premiership career after playing for 22 years for the London side, Chelsea Football Club.

Terry started his football career at 14 when he moved to Chelsea from West Ham United as a youth player. He later signed as a professional player in 1998.

 

Terry is Chelsea’s finest and Most Successful captain after leading them to 5 Premier League titles, 4 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 1 Champions League and One Europa League trophy.

 

 

While at the Blues, Terry has won different personal accolades which includes; PFA Players’ Player of the Year, 2005, named UEFA Club Defender of the Year for 2005, 2008 and 2009, he was named in the All Star Squad of the 2006 FIFA World Cup and was also included in FIFPro World XI for five consecutive record seasons (2005-2009).

Terry in his career at Chelsea has scored 41 goals in his 492 appearances.
