Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu Appoints Giwa Moore as Senior Special Assistant

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has reaffirmed his dedication to youth involvement in governance by appointing Giwa Moore, a native of Epe, as Senior Special Assistant (SSA).

This appointment is part of the governor’s ongoing efforts to introduce fresh perspectives and tap into the expertise of the younger generation.

Giwa Moore, known for his active involvement in leadership and community service, previously served as the Special Adviser to the Epe Local Government Area (LGA) chairman.

His past role demonstrated his commitment to public service and his capacity to make meaningful contributions to local governance.

Alongside Moore, Governor Sanwo-Olu appointed three other former leaders of the Student Union Government, SUG, in Lagos tertiary institutions as SSAs.

Eniola Opeyemi, Kayode Samuel and Adeola Adewunmi were the former leaders who got appointed.

Reacting to Moore’s appointment, Hon. (Princess) Surah O. Animashaun, the Executive Chairman of Epe LGA, conveyed her warm congratulations in an official statement:

“On behalf of the Executive and Legislative Arms, Management, Staff, and the good people of Epe Local Government, I heartily congratulate Mr. Giwa Muritala Omotola Moore on his appointment as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Executive Governor of Lagos State.

“Your appointment is a bold testament to your relentless commitment to excellent, impressive, and productive service delivery, and I believe the state government will benefit immensely from your rich experience, ability, and wisdom.”

She extended her gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu for choosing “one of our own” for such a significant role.
