Lagos State Compensates Family of KAI Officer Stoned To Death With 5 Million

 

The Lagos State government has compensated the family of former KAI/LAGSEC officer late Mr Moshood Ayeni Olalekan who was stoned to death on Tuesday, May 23rd 2020 in the course of duty.

The family of the deceased was presented a cheque for the payment of the Sum of five million naira (5million) as compensation to the family, black box Nigeria reliably reports.

Recall that Moshood Ayeni was stoned at Iyana Oworo axis of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria. It was gathered that he was stoned to death by traders on their way back to office.

Two illegal highway hawkers allegedly started shouting and calling the attention of other hawkers around and in no time they gathered and started throwing stones at the Green Maria van. The stones eventually hit the deceased’s head, became unconscious and fell down from the vehicle.

Other members of the team rushed him immediately to the Lagos State emergency centre at 7- up area of the state where they tried to revive him.
He was later referred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) where he was pronounced dead.

This is another milestone achievement by the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, putting smiles on the faces of the people.
