Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Bola Shobowale, has passed away after a prolonged illness.
Her death comes just three days after Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, appointed the council’s Vice Chairman, Oladipupo Oluwaloni, as the Acting Chairman to fill the leadership vacuum.
Before her death, the local council has experienced months of leadership drought stemming from her prolonged illness.
She succeeded Bamidele Ojo as the chairman of the local council when the latter died in July 2024.
Shobowale leadership has been marked with achievement, success and good development in the community.
