Lagos To Get 24hours Uninterrupted Electricity Supply As Ambode Signs 7 Bills Into Law
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Thursday signed into Law the Electricity Power Sector Reform Law. He explained that the Bill will avail Lagos State to carry on with the planned Embedded Power Programme aimed at delivering 24hours uninterrupted power supply to the residents.
Governor Akinwunmi made this disclosure at the small event used to sign Bills into Law at the Governor’s office, Alausa Ikeja.
He said the Electricity Power Sector Reform Law will help the State achieve it’s electricity generation plan which is to probide 24-7 uninterrupted electricity supply to Lagosians.
Six other Bills signed into Law at the signing event includes; Amended Land Use Charge Bill, the School of Nursing Bill, the Cooperative College Bill, the Cancer Research Institute Bill, the Amended Customary Court Bill and the Yoruba Language Preservation bill.
Present at the signing event were the Attorney General of the State, who is also the Commissioner for Justice, Mr Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem, Commissioner for Information, Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan and other top State Executive members.
