The Lagos State APC youth leader Dr. Seriki Muritala has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election for the Kosofe State Constituency seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He won in a landslide victory beating major contender Hon. Femi Saheed who is currently representing the constituency.
Muritala secured a total of 16,218 votes to defeat his opponent, Hon. Saheed Femi, who polled 862 votes.
The result, announced by the electoral officer following the conclusion of the primary election saw other aspirants polling lesser votes in the primary.
Recall that Muritala has secured massive support from Lagos GAC, Party stakeholders and supporters across the state during his declaration of intention.
With the victory, Muritala becomes the APC candidate for the Kosofe State Constituency ahead of the next general election in Lagos State.
