Kaduna’s Commissioner For Education, Nok Dies After Supervising Sack Of 21,000 Teachers

 

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Education, Mr Andrew Nok has been reported dead shortly after supervising the mass sack of 21,000.

According to updates from the State capital, Mr Nok died after a brief illness, which has not been disclosed as at the time of filing this report.

It will be recalled that the Kaduna State Government had ordered the mass sack of 21,000 primary school teachers after they all failed a competency test arranged by the Education Ministry.

This development has caused uproar in the State as affected teachers are appealing not to be sacked.
