Mr. Godwin Emefiele, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
It was learnt that the former Governor, who is as of now being interrogated at the National Headquarters of the EFCC, Jabi in Abuja, was picked up by operatives of the anti-graft agency on Thursday night.
This follows less than an hour after he regained his freedom from the custody of the Department of State Services.
Also, it was gathered that the EFCC is probing Emefiele over alleged impropriety during his term as the head of the apex bank.
