Asisat Oshoala, Super Falcon striker, has been crowned 2023 CAF Women’s ‘Player of the Year’, making it the sixth time she would be taking the award home.
CAF announced the 29-year-old as the award winner through its X handle on Monday.
Oshoala was awarded as the best African female football in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022, pulling clear as the footballer with the most wins.
Along her, Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie also won the women’s goalkeeper of the year prize.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria were also named the women’s best national team on the continent.
