Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has formally obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 Lagos State governorship election.
The development was confirmed in a statement issued on Wednesday by his campaign spokesperson, Gbenga Ogunleye, describing the move as a key milestone in Adediran’s bid for the state’s top office.
According to the statement, the purchase of the forms reflects Jandor’s commitment to due process and adherence to the APC’s internal democratic framework.
Adediran also expressed support for the party’s adoption of direct primaries for selecting candidates, noting that the approach would deepen grassroots participation, foster unity, and encourage inclusiveness within the party.
Reaffirming his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s National Leader, Jandor commended party leaders in Lagos for their continued guidance and dedication to progressive governance.
While acknowledging endorsements from various stakeholders, he noted that differing allegiances among party members demonstrate a healthy democratic culture within the APC.
He further appreciated members of the JAGABAN–JANDOR 2027 Movement, youths, and supporters who contributed financially towards the purchase of the nomination forms, praising their confidence in his leadership.
Jandor assured party faithful and Lagos residents that his ambition is driven by a commitment to unity, inclusiveness, and the consolidation of good governance under the APC.
