For ace banker, Islamiyat Bolatito Ajibode the timing is never more accurate than now which represents few days to the commencement of the Ramadan fast to launch the revised version of her book ‘Teachings From The Holy Quran’ that condensed the powerful messages from the Holy Quran into a 30-day guide.

The book launch which took place at the Federal Palace Hotel and Casino in the Victoria Island area of Lagos yesterday, Sunday April 28th witnessed the attendance of religion faithful and associates of the author.

According to the author, writing the book was borne out of the desire to reveal the beauty of the prayers contained in the Quran by internalizing some verses in English in order to enable more people gain access without the scriptures losing any meaning.

The first edition of Teachings from the Holy Quran was first published 13 years ago.

Using the spider and its web as a vivid illustration of the insignificance of the pursuit of worldly things instead of the hereafter, the Chairman of the occasion, Mr Biodun Dabiri, eulogized the Author for her dedication to the banking profession while she worked under him in defunct Magnum Trust Bank.

The brief programme had in attendance, Imam Barrister Sheyi of the Clearpath Islamic Centre, Lekki who in his vast knowledge in the religion presented a lecture on the topic, “The Compass” where he highlighted the significance of the holy book as a guide in the life of the creations of the the supreme being.

Other guests present at the occasion were, Dr. Gbolahan Elias, Alhaja Jibike Onigbanjo, Ayo Salami, Ustaz Christopher among others.
