By The Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba was named the “Most Outstanding Young Person in Governance” at the second edition of the Lagos Youth Awards held on Friday, December 23, 2022.
The well-attended event, organized by BBN360, a Lagos-based media company, was held at Radisson Blu Hotel in the Ikeja area of Lagos.
Gbadebo-Alogba, who got nominated for the same award last year, secured the highest number of public votes to emerge top this time around. She beat other nominees such as Rasaq Ibrahim Olalekan (Chairman, Coker Aguda LCDA), Jessica Abraham Oba (Leader, Ikorodu West LCDA) and Gbenga Abiola (Vice Chairman, Agege LGA).
Reacting to the honour, the council boss, who was represented at the event, expressed her sincere appreciation to the organizers and everyone who voted for her to receive the award.
She then dedicated the honour to the good people of Ijede LCDA, while reiterating her commitment to delivering responsive leadership and good governance to them.
