An unidentified mother of one has reportedly killed her baby by dosing the baby with Tramadol before she went clubbing.
This incident reportedly occurred in the Likombo area of Tiko in South West Cameroon.
According to The Punch, the woman fed the baby with tramadol to sleep so that she could go out to the club with her friends.
However, on arrival, the baby was found lying lifeless and later confirmed dead.
The news of the baby’s death brought the community’s rage on the woman as they attacked her by beating her black and blue before the police arrived.
The woman is currently in the custody of the Cameroonian police and she is said to be awaiting trial.
