Hakeem Muniru Won The Only Ward Election Held In  Isolo LCDA, Others Disrupted By Thugs Loyal To K1, Ajomale

As against the purported victory being peddled around by some camps in the Saturday All Progressive Congress Primary election in Isolo Local Council Development Area, video evidence has emerged showing Honourable Hakeem Abiodun Muniru winning the peacefully counted  votes in Ishaga/Ire Akari ward before the other six (wards) were disrupted by thugs loyal to Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1), Former APC State Chairman Otunba Henry Ajomale and Bayo Olasoju.

According to the reliable source, election only held in one ward while the ones in Alagbeji ward, Akinbaye ward, Ajao Estate ward, Apena ward, Okota ward and Ilasamaja ward were disrupted by one Yomi Poly and his followers.

“If there is anybody to be announced as the candidate of the APC in Isolo LCDA, then it should be Honourable Muniru because he won clearly in the ward that was not scattered, ” he said.

In a related development the Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the party is yet to formally release results of Saturday’s primary elections held across the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas of the state to decide the Chairmanship and councillorship candidates of the party in the forthcoming LGAs/LCDAs elections in the state.

It acknowledged there were reports of violence and electoral malpractices in some Local Government Areas, while party registers were not available in other councils.

According to a party source who does not want to be named on account of not being authorised to do so, the party “is yet to make formal announcement on the election results.”

“Yes, I can confirm to you that we are on ground at the party secretariat and no result has been  announced.

“The party has received several complaints and reports of violence and irregularities that characterised the elections and the situation is currently being reviewed.

“The party hierarchy are also consulting widely and for now, the result has not been announced. There is nothing of such and I can confirm to you that most of the results in circulation are fake,” the source said.
