The Lagos Mainland Progressive Youth has praised the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos for appointing Hon. Dayo Israel as the national youth leader and into its campaign council.
This was contained in a statement signed by Rilwan Ayodeji Tinubu on behalf of the group.
According to the statement, the group thanked the All Progressive Congress in Lagos State led by Hon.Cornelius Ojelabi for giving recognition to the youth into Lagos State Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaign Council for the forthcoming General Elections in 2023.
“Our appreciation is also extended to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu,a youth friendly administrator whose activities and administration has recognized the youth in all ramifications. Your transformational work has taken Lagos state to a height of a mega city amongst other states,” the statement added.
The group further assured the Governor of Lagos State of their support in the coming election.
“Our deepest appreciation and honor to our father,the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his immense support for the youth.
“The Lagos Mainland Progressive Youth is assuring our Father to contribute our quota to his emergence as the President of Nigeria.
“We therefore encourage Hon Dayo Israel to use the hammer, nail and other tools he succeeded in making the table a reality to lift other young people to greater height, like he will always say.
“We, therefore, implore all APC stakeholders, candidates to continue to put the youth in their agenda as we are ready to make Nigeria a great Nation,” the statement read.
