Bukola Saraki, the former Nigerian Senate President, took to social media to celebrate his son, Seni, for his significant contribution to a hit song that earned a Grammy Awards nomination.

Following the announcement of the 66th Grammy Awards nomination list by the Recording Academy, Saraki, like many Nigerians, celebrated the eight artists who received nominations for their outstanding work.

However, Saraki had more reason to rejoice as he proudly revealed that his son, Seni, a music consultant and graduate of the London School of Economics, was one of the creative minds behind the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ soundtrack, which received four nominations in the list.

The seasoned politician expressed his immense happiness and pride in his son and the entire Native Records team for achieving this remarkable feat.

“Just yesterday, I congratulated our Nigerian artists who received Grammy nods. Little did I know that this morning I would receive the great news that my own son, Seni, and his record label, Native Records, made contributions to the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ soundtrack, which received four Grammy nominations,” he shared.

“Seni, I am incredibly proud of you and your team for this remarkable achievement,” he added.
